The Toronto
Campus Initiative is coordinated by
the Toronto Youth Network and is open to leaders
of city-wide youth ministries who commit to the
Initiative’s Mission, Values, and Strategies
and sign the Co-Labour Agreement.
Locally, all Christian students, parents, educators, youth workers, churches,
ministries and organizations are invited to become an active part of the
Initiative’s Mission by networking their efforts to reach the 150+
public and private junior high and senior high schools in Toronto for Christ. |

OUR MISSION
|
| To reach every junior high and senior high school
in Toronto |
| |
OUR CORE VALUES
|
| |
INTENTIONAL EVANGELISM
|
| We are intentional in evangelism. We
must share the message of God’s love through
Jesus Christ with students, before the world captures,
and then controls their hearts, minds, and actions.
Therefore, we seek to develop and implement strategies
to help reach every adolescent in every school. |
| |
A CHRISTIAN INFLUENCE IN OUR
SCHOOLS
|
| We need a movement of God in our schools. We
need a place where Christian students can meet
on campus to be encouraged, and to be challenged
to live and share their faith at school. We also
need a place where non-Christian students can feel
accepted and loved, and hear the message of the
gospel. |
| |
LOCAL CHURCH
|
| The church is God's primary agency for
building His Kingdom. We want every
student to be part of a local church that provides
a youth ministry to help students grow and serve
Christ. |
| |
STUDENT LEADERSHIP
|
| Preparing students for leadership and
influence is a priority. Because youth
are so greatly influenced by their peers, we
believe we must encourage, empower and equip
them in order to reach the maximum number of
students, most effectively. |
